PM SVANidhi Scheme approved loans to over 48,000 street vendors so far

  • Since the commencement of lending process under PM SVANidhi Scheme on July 02, more than 1,54,000 street vendors have applied for loan across States/ UTs and out of which over 48,000 have already been sanctioned. The Central Government launched the mobile application of PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme on July 17.
  • This App aims to provide user friendly digital interface for Lending Institutions (LIs) and their field functionaries for sourcing and processing loan applications of street vendors under the Scheme.

India’s first social media super application, Elyments, was launched by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. The app was created by more than 1,000 IT professionals who came together for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living.
